Supplements for consideration:

Calcium: We get enough in our regular diet. It’s best to get your Calcium from food.

Vitamin D3 supplement in gel (most bioavailable form)

Which levels should I have checked?

The stability of this molecule can be compromised when mixed with other vitamins found in a Prenatal supplement so it is best to take a separate DHA / EPA supplement

Ask your OBGYN for specific recommendations but a good place to start is 

  • 400mg DHA

  • 200mg EPA (to help DHEA cross the placenta (can go too high in pregnancy, don’t go higher than 500mg/day- can have blood thinning effect)
